Barry Ross Smith was born in Northland, New Zealand. Initially trained as a signwriter, he later worked overseas for many years as a commercial artist before becoming a full-time fine artist. Ross Smith has an impressive exhibition history, including numerous sold-out exhibitions with SOCA Gallery and Black Barn Gallery.
